September 17, 1787 our Constitution was signed and ratified. September 18 George Washington laid the cornerstone to what is our capital. Two days that represent the result of prayer and faith in God that freedom and religion are inseperable. George Washinton acknowledged that "I am sure that there never was a people who had more reason to acknowledge a divine interposition in their affairs than those of the United States." Our founders believed in prayer and a free nation was born. That is faith!

Project 1787

We at We The People Ministries want to organize a nationwide prayer chain that exercises the true strength of a Christian, prayer. We want to enlist at least 1,787 churches and groups to sign up for a 48hr chain prayer starting at 11am Friday September 17, 2009 through 11am Sunday September 19, 2009.
